I haven't broken into the NF event yet (working too damn much), but would you all consider the starter island about equal in dimension and gameplay to pre-searing?

bigger then presearing, average level by the last primay quest with decent questing and monstor killing along the way... is 15 or so, i bet by completing every quest hitting 20 is feasable.

I finish the event at lvl 14... Um the most annoying part is getting sunspear promotion points. The most difficult parts are by far the bosses. The snake thing that changes class (yeah if he goes dervish get away from him) and the boss fight with the general and captain in the swamp (the general is a dervish and WILL beat the hell out of you, just hope you kill him before you die). I had 103 deaths when I finished the event.

Tips? Know how to build your heroes. I use the war, monk, and dervish as my three. War is flail + 6 xe adrenal attacks + rez sig. Monk is glimmer of light, comforting touch, dwaynas kiss, orison, holy haste, leech sig, power drain, rez chant (rez chant + holy haste ftw). Dervish is um, flail + wounding strike + lyssa assault + eremite attack + heart of holy flame + faithful intervention + vital boon + rez sig. Yeah if your about the lvl of the henchies in the area and have up to date armor you should be ok. I didn't upgrade armor until the general and captain raped me so that made things harder.

posted in another thread, but figured i'd add in here as well.

no you can't get to the mainland like others have said, yes you can get to lvl 20 and some. i'm nearing my first skill point after 20, and still have some quests to go.

taking a break now to do some work, then I'll be back in full force to get my Marshal title hopefully

the snake boss wasnt that bad, i went with a heroe smiting monk (Balthazar forbids it), the dervish heroe, and the healer henchie, though the smiting monk went thousand of miles ahead to smite an enemy that hadnt started combat with the party.

the general and captain wherent that hard, 8v2? killed the captain first.

i reached lvl 15 when i finished the event, its a bit too slow for my tastes, Factions spoiled me with uberfast leveling .

though i deleted my preview character and remade her with the name she´ll keep, now she is a lvl 1 newbie ready to get slaughtered by whatever evil finishes the event.

(pst, on a side note, who wants to bet that Kormir will be the one dying at the end of nightfall? (or somewhere in between?))

I finished it, with almost every quest, at level 18. I must say I was impressed and love Nightfall so far.

Those are phenomenally easy to get as long as you talk to every Sunspear Scout you see. As long as you do that, the points (and double exp!) you get from monsters you were going to kill anyway add up very quickly.

...Yeah, I've finished it. Doing chest runs* and testing Hero builds atm.

*Inevitably, I haven't unlocked a single spear or scythe mod yet!

In my opinion, if you did not do every quest, you did not finish it.
